Awards
Everyone likes to win prizes or be given awards and I am no different. Here is a list of the awards I've recieved for the photos that have appeared on this blog:
- An Award for Photographic Excellence
- This award is given, by the blogger Scriptor Senex, when "a particular photo reminds me how many brilliantly talented amateurs there are out there".
Recognition
Whilst it is nice to win prizes or be given awards they aren't the only form of recognition photographers can get for their work. People or companies that like your work enough to ask permission to use it clearly appreciate the work that went into taking the photo. The following have made use of photos that have appeared on this blog:
- SIMPACK
- SIMPACK held a training course in Lyon and used my photo of Lyon At Night in the brochure they produced to advertise the event.
- Wygent Reeds
- Mark Wygent makes and sells bagpipe reeds through his company Wygent Reeds. He uses my panorama from the car park people use to walk the Quiraing as the masthead image on his new website.
